Lexington's Beautiful Horse Farms

Benn and Michelle got in today around noon from Bentonville. We chilled out for a few hours here in the mission home and then went to Lexington to look at all the horse farms. They are amazing! Very beautiful. Ang and Hannah left today. It was sad to see them go. It sure has been a lot more quiet around here. We played a few games of "Settlers of Catan". I studied for the GMAT this morning. I thought I was doing pretty well on the math practice test, but missed 13 of 20. I know what I will need to study. I plan on taking the test this summer.

Friday

We're still in Kentucky. It has been a very relaxing visit. We've played a lot of games, eatin a lot of food, and took lots of naps. My favorite new game is "Settlers of Catan". I gave it to Jill for Christmas. Jill and I have been working on a thousand piece puzzle. We are probably 2/3 of the way done and have only been at it a few hours. Jill is tenacious! I've been studying for the GMAT. My strength is the verbal sections and my weakness is the math sections. Luckily, I have six months to prepare. I was just called to the Bishopric. President Lewis called me a few days ago and extended the call. I happily accepted. Jill was released as the Young Women's President and called as the Laurel's advisor. She happily accepted! We are getting ready to go to the zoo today. It is sunny and probably 60 degrees. A good day for going. Benn and Michelle will be coming here to Kentucky on Saturday morning. They will stay till Monday morning. It'll be fun to see them.

Jill and I found our dream homes here in Lousiville. They are in the same neighborhood as the mission home. The homes are probably 50 years old, have a flat front and made of either stone or brick.

12-28-06 It's Only Just Begun

I've been thinking about doing a blog now for a few weeks. My sisters-in-law provided the know how and I am providing the muscle. We'll see how this goes. I'm game to try "bigger and better" ways.
